Has more than 20 years of hands-on experiences in facilities management and construction. His technical expertise and practical approach offers clients a wonderful balance of real-life solutions to facility management.
For 8 years of time, he managed building facilities for an electrical & electronics manufacturing company in Ayer Keroh, Melaka with land area of 1.3 million square feet and built-up area of 1.2 million square feet. He was also the company’s main representative in 3 separate construction projects that encompassed a total built-up area of 1.2 million square feet and consisted of 4 factory buildings, 4 administration buildings (including 1 eight-storey building) and 1 logistic centre. Total project worth was RM 83 million.
He has vast experiences in workspace planning and implementation for offices and tertiary institutions, interior furnishings and manufacturing/process layout to meet the needs of clients. Besides these, he is also experienced in recommending, advising and implementing building infrastructure change to meet clients’ requirements.
As a certified energy manager (CEM), he is also knowledgeable in international standards such as ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) & OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System) and experienced in managing building facilities according to these standards.
Since year 2012 he has managed 10 UTCs (Urban Transformation Centre) building upgrading projects. Under the turn-key & fast track project he was appointed as a Project Manager to work with consultant team as well as liaise with the state authorities.
